You know your church should besalt and light in the voting booth.

But do you know if they actually are?

The Union of Christ Initiative, a project of Alaska Family Action, gives pastors a secure, private opportunity to find out who actually votes in their congregation…and who doesn't.

Our prayer is that once church leaders have real knowledge of who isn't voting in their house of worship, they will be motivated to equip and encourage those members to cast a God-honoring vote in this upcoming General Election.

Just like with on-line banking, this system is completely secure.

Nobody sees your church membership list. Nobody.

We value the privacy of your membership.

Just like you do as a pastor.

Your list is deleted within 24 hours.

And we also value their God-given right and responsibility to vote Biblically and shape who leads our state.

How it works

  1. Create a Secure Password

Sign up and create your own secure password. If you have any trouble, send an email to jim@akfamily.org or call Jim Minnery at 907-317-7268.

  2. Upload your list

A spreadsheet from your church software, or any list with names.

  3. We match it

Against Alaska's public voter records. Takes under a minute.

  4. Get your report

See who voted, who didn't, and who isn't registered. Download it.

Why this matters

Most pastors have never seen the number. They assume their congregation votes — and the research has said otherwise for forty years.

What you do with it is the point. The people who didn't vote aren't a statistic. They're on your rolls, in your pews, and most of them will vote if someone they trust asks them to.

It takes about a minute.
