Who's behind this

The Union of Christ Initiative is a project of Alaska Family Action, the political arm of Alaska Family Council (AFC). Established in 2006, AFC is a Christ-centered, public policy ministry whose vision is an Alaska where families thrive, religious freedom flourishes, life is cherished and God is honored.

We believe that can happen best when God and His people have an impact on Government - an institution He created.

God cares about politics because he cares about everything. The reality is that God is concerned with his glory. As Psalm 57 notes, His glory covers all of the earth. God's glory must be a central focus of a well-functioning government.

With such a large percentage of church members not voting, the Union of Christ Initiative is our best shot at truly engaging pastors and increasing our presence as the Body of Christ in the voting booth.

All voter records come from the Alaska Division of Elections public voter file. This information indicates only whether someone voted. Not who they voted for.

Our secure portal for churches to assess who has and hasn't voted in their congregation was designed by Edishouse, a company based in Anchorage. Now for the needed legal language…
